How many sermons make a book?
8 to 15 sermons is the typical range for a standard book: 10-12 chapters, around 25,000 words. A focused devotional can work from as few as 6, and a single series of 4-8 sermons makes a concise mini-book.

Not every minute of preaching survives the trip to the page, and that’s by design. Announcements, asides, and the moments that only worked in the room stay behind. What remains is the teaching itself, carried into chapters that keep your voice and your theology intact.
What if my archive is bigger, or smaller?
A large archive is an asset, not a problem: catalog analysis at the start of the process finds the threads that already run through your preaching, and a deep archive often holds more than one book. A small archive isn’t disqualifying either. If you have a series you believe in, the mini-book format exists for exactly that.
You don’t need transcripts. Audio, video, YouTube links, or rough notes all work; transcription is part of the service.
